Meiners Oaks

Meiners Oaks is in the mid-northern section of the Ojai Valley, and is bordered by the community of Mira Monte to the south, and the City of Ojai to the east. Meiners Oaks is in the heart of the Ojai Valley. The community is 70 miles north of Los Angeles and is home to approximately 3,600 residents.

The neighborhood of Meiners Oaks covers approximately 1.4 square miles between Highway 33 and State Route 150. This makes it quite accessible to both Ventura and Santa Barbara. This charming and quaint community offers both public and private schools and is just 1 mile from Ojai Community Hospital. Meiners Oaks consists of mostly single-family homes built between 1920 and 1960 and sit on property of up to 5 acres. Homes are gently nestled in the historic oak trees, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Many horse and animal lovers alike call Meiners Oaks home.

Although it has its own amazing eateries and entertainment spots, it is just a few minutes from shopping, dining and entertainment in downtown Ojai. Meiners Oaks is an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. It offers easy access to hiking and equestrian trails, Lake Casitas and the always enjoyable Ojai Valley Bike Trail.

This wonderful community has some of the Ojai Valley’s longest standing small family businesses, such as Papa Lennon’s, Jolly Kone, The Donut Hole and Ace Hardware. It is also home to The Ranch House Restaurant, which is joyfully remembered as the destination dining spot of Old Hollywood stars, looking for a private dinner escape. One can often see the residence of Meiners Oaks strolling down El Roblar Drive on their way to dinner or to the local hardware store. It truly offers that small community feel.
